If not check them out here… Episode 1   Episode 2 Now that you have seen what Marketer Talk is all about….Here it the third installment that I was privilege to be part of. I was very excited to be part of this hangout because I had the opportunity to meet and talk with one of my favorite marketers Erik Stafford. This Google Hangout covered so many different i can’t list them all here.  The one topic that I was very interested in was how e-mail marketing is NOT DEAD like so many others are talking about. Just because Google has changed how e-mails are delivered to their users does not mean that us as marketers cannot utilize e-mail any more… Any way…check out the show and leave a comment below and let me know your thoughts.

[Plugin Review] BonusPress WordPress Plugin

As affiliate marketers making commissions from email promotions is vital. Industry experts say that a 1%-3% conversion rate is “acceptable”. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! Talk to any super affiliate and they will tell you if you want to maximize each of your email promotions (while offering VALUE)… You need to be creating bonus packages. How Can I Offer A bonus? Well, it is possible with a WordPress plugin that was just released. It’s called BonusPress and it’s so simple to use. Check out my review (and bonus 🙂 ) right here: Watch the video and you will see how easy it is to set up bonuses for your customers. So, regardless of your list size you can deliver great service to your subscribers and MAXIMIZE the amount you can make from each promotion. [2 Minute Tip] Mini JV Giveaway Event

It has been a few weeks since I posted last but I have been busy testing a new method for generating FLOODS of traffic! I have spent quite some time learning about mini JV giveaway events. What the heck is a mini JV giveaway event you ask? A mini giveaway is where a host has a group of contributors (usually about 6-12) and they all agree to send a predetermined amount of clicks to the event.  All clicks are sent to the event main page where visitors can optin to the event and see the gift page. The leads that are generated from these events seem to be higher quality as contributors are required to send the clicks from their email list and not from sources of social media, adfly, traffic exchanges or other traffic sources that are thought to be low quality. What’s in it for the contributors? Well, like regular giveaway events the contributors submit 1 gift that they will use as a free offer.  As visitors come to the event they have to opportunity to see the gifts available. ...

[Review] Sterling Valentine's ListLaser 2.0

I am always on the look out for some great tools and resources to help people build their dream online business. An essential asset of an online business is an email list. To be able to build a list you need several complex moving parts….a squeeze page funnel system, an autoresponder, a hosting account, etc. All of these things can be very frightening if you are not a “techie” person. Well….I have found a great resource that enables you to start building a list with the click of a couple buttons. I don’t normally believe the HYPE behind push button solutions but this one is the real deal. You can actually create a fully monetized squeeze funnel with an autoresponder fully set up to collect email addresses at the push of a button. Not only that, the autoresposnder is loaded with follow up messages providing good content and promotional emails containing your affiliate links. The squeeze pages are nice looking and great to use in traffic exchanges (along...

[2 Minute Tip] Solo Ad Marketing

During the month of June I decided to kick up the notch on my advertising efforts to generate some solid subscriber optins. I had heard a lot about others using solo ads to drive quick traffic to their offer with some great conversion rates. Well…I guess you can see where this post is going.  I used some solo ads and had great results also. Here are the results I got with my first solo ad campaigns: Campaign #1 – Solo ad Purchased 250 clicks for $75.  I received 301 clicks resulting in 42 confirmed optins.  This represents a price of $0.34 per click. Campaign #2 – Solo Ad Purchased 50 clicks for $35.  I received 79 clicks resulting in 25 confirmed optins.  This represents a price of $0.44 per click. Campaign #3 – Solo Ad Purchased 100 clicks for $58.  I received 123 clicks resulting in 36 confirmed optins.  This represents a price of $0.48 per click. To summarize I spent $168 and received 503 clicks.  These clicks generated 103 new subscribers! Solo ads can be a...

[Plugin Review] Optin Skin

WordPress Plugins are a great way to improve and optimize your blog in a variety of ways.  They can improve your SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Automate the back of your blog and enhance the overall look and presentation of your blog. So, I thought I would let you in on the different plugins that I use here at TrevorMcHaffie.com.  I do use free and premium plugins on this site but I do think that these plugins enhance the overall experience here. OptinSkin is a premium plugin I use on the site.  Optinskin creates clean looking opt-in forms and social share boxes on your blog with simple steps. It helps draw attention to your opt-in forms with its 18 customizable templates and cool features like “Fade In” (which I use in my posts).  You can change almost every element of the template within the plugin settings.  You can also create your own custom designs using HTML and CSS. You can be creative and selective as to where your opt-in form is placed.  You can place it...
